Its time to paint the blue faction. The character here is a gentleman on a Jak. I really looked forward to painting this one. The jak is for sure a favorite animal companion of mine.
Firstly, priming white as usual because I didn’t see a need for black and I wanted the blue to really pop.

I filled in the details with silver. Some on the guns, the legs and the internal of the “ship”. A quick wash of a dark blue and then a dry brush if light blue pulled it all together. Also some nuln oil wash on the metal parts finished it off.

I added some snow to this base because I though it would fit best with the jak theme. I do have actual snow flocking but instead I wanted to follow a tutorial I found. This was mixing white paint, elmers glue and baking soda together to build up the surface and then sprinkling on more baking soda for snow texture. I am really happy with how this turned out.
Time to focus on the jak. Surprisingly this was more fun to do than the previous character figures. For some reason it was much easier and the sculpts had a lot more detail. I took a lot of time to build up the texture on the jaks fur.

This one was a bunch of fun to paint, I wish I could have enjoyed it a little more, but I really had to rush it to get it done in time for Christmas.
